  2. A Synopsis… The future, whether it’s a day ahead or a year ahead, it is a common cause of fear or stress. In 2014, Martin Carmon found the answer, the AppareilParfait, or more commonly known as the App. You could say it brainwashed the user, but in a good way. Stress and worries were forgotten, and all was well, but all pleasant things only last so long. Pollution increases, but the happy people have no worries, and blow it off. Arris Thorn, a blind Canadian boy, is aware though, aware of the end of the world. The App is the cause of the world’s unnoticed problems, and it is Arris’s goal to shut them down.

  3. Story Mountain • OPENING: The Appareil Parfaitis invented in 2014 by Martin Carmon, with an important purpose, to rid all worries and stress from people’s minds. • RISING ACTION: Arris Thorn, a blind 13 year old boy, finds that the App’s effect are not all good. Everyone is ignoring an important problem, pollution, and Arris had made it his mission to bring down the App. • CLIMAX: After many failed attempts to shut down the App, Arris, Roon, Mel, and Simafing out where Martin’s was, and hope to find out how to end the App. • FALLING ACTION: After finding Martin’s App, a hologram of Martin come up and describes the reasons behind the App, and how to get rid of it when the time comes. • RESOLUTION: The four kids are forced with a decision, shut down the App but bring back all the stress people had before it, or let it be, but pollution would increase and continue to be forgotten.

  5. Description of Character • Arris is wearing black sweatpants and a navy sweatshirt. • He is wearing Sensor, special glasses that help his see because he is blind. • Arris has brown longish hair with dark highlights. • He is an average size for an eighth grader.
