Custom’s K-12 Education Technology Council Standard Integration • Schedule the integration day with the end user • Install and configure Microsoft Windows Server 2012R2 • Configure internal hard drives in a RAID configuration • Assign an available static IP address to server • Update all BIOS and Firmware • Install the latest hot fixes and service packs for Windows Server 2012 • Configure the Active Directory network • Configure DNS on the server and integrate it into the NYC DOE Classroom Connect network • Notify NYC DOE Server Operations of the new server installation for DNS delegation • Configure standard group policy restrictions • Configure the backup system (if applicable) • Set up a central data store with access for all users to save data to the server • Connect and configure the UPS battery backup (if applicable) • Create forty (40) generic users • Configure up to four (4) network printers on the server • Configure up to forty (40) desktop clients within a single room lab environment or ten (10) desktops in a building wide environment (i.e. multiple classrooms) or twenty (20) notebook computers • Configure each workstation to power-on to the authentication logon screen • Verify internet, server, and printer connectivity on each workstation • Document the server configuration • DATA and/or DOMAIN TRANSFER NOT INCLUDED - PLEASE CALL FOR CUSTOMIZED SERVICES
