Greenfield Emergency Winter Parking Ban

An emergency winter parking ban is in effect in the Town of Greenfield from 4:00 am on 2/5/14 to 6:00 am on 2/6/14. The ban prohibits parking on both sides of residential streets for public safety due to predicted heavy snowfall. Please note the regular winter parking ban from Dec. 1 to April 1. Violators will have their vehicles towed at their expense.

  1. Town of Greenfield An emergency winter parking ban, prohibiting parking on BOTH sides of all residential streets, is in effect from 4:00 am Wednesday 2/5/14 through 6:00 am Thursday 2/6/14. An emergency winter parking ban prohibits parking on BOTH sides of the street and is implemented for public safety due to a large predicted snowfall amount. Reminder: There is always a regular winter parking ban from Dec. 1 to April 1 that prohibits parking on the south and east sides of the street. It also prohibits parking between the hours of 1:00am and 6:00 am on any street or municipal parking lot. There is no overnight parking in parking lots except in designated areas of the Chapman/Davis Street lot and a section of the Hope St Lot. The storm scheduled to start 2/5/14 is predicted to be a significant event. THE TOWN WILL HAVE ALL VEHICLES IN VIOLATION OF THE PARKING BAN TOWED AT THE OWNERS EXPENSE.
