Translation of Previous Slide • Ysgol y Ffin opened on the 1st September, 2001, to serve the growing need in South Monmouthshire for Welsh-medium education.One of the main purposes of the school is to promote the Welsh language and culture in order for the children to develop as natural Welsh speakers. The children are taught through the medium of Welsh. Teaching staff communicate with pupils at all times through the medium of Welsh, with the exception of English lessons which commence in Year 3.
