Peace can be achieved by- • Integrated efforts • Actualizing students’ potentials • Teaching students how to learn and un-learn about life • Helping them make peace with themselves and others, live in harmony • Help in dealing with conflict, strife, destruction prejudice – destruction of ecoic fabric

  4. Wellsprings of conflict • Major compulsions • Politico-economical • Psycho-social • Disregard for the spiritual oneness of man • Hatred, distrust and fear • Many modern terrorists are from the cream of higher-education

  5. Need of the hour • Initiatives of peace to be taken up by all stake holders • Educators and psychologists • Religious and spiritual leaders • Administrators and legislators • Parents and students • Usher in near universal peace in the global commune

Undertaking I, being a citizen of a global commune, geographically represented by the sub continent called India, [a celestial-sphere called earth] solemnly declare that I do not belong to any specific group that is contrary to India’s (global) security. As a signatory to the UN covenant, I submit all my antecedents and shall uphold peace at all cost. If found contrary, I may be acted upon as per the law of the land.
