Luminaire Titania has been developed and designed in accordance with the latest edition of RABT Regulations for the equipment and operation of road tunnels Approved by German Federal Ministry for Traffic, Building and Urban Affairs This combined escape route and emergency fire light Titania helps to showvehicle passengers the fastest and safest way out of the tunnel in extreme cases. 2

  5. Titania Power supply The norm establishes that when a tunnel suffers from a failure of power supply, an emergency powersupply system and an emergency lighting system must be at hand. Options • Second independent power supply from • distribution network • Independent source of electrical energy (generate by using genset – • Engine-generator, a machine used to generate electricity) • and - UPS (UninterruptiblePower Supply Source, to allow time to bring • an auxiliary power source on line). Titania • LED identification lights: • There is 6 LEDs Osram Golden Dragon Oval Plus inside of the housing • Luminous intensity 75cd/m2 (RABT) • LED emergency fire lights: • The internal lighting consists of 2 cool white • 6300K high performance LEDs. • For additional security, they are linked in • such a way that should one LED ever • fail, the others remain light. Primary electrical circuit -14,5W Secondary electrical circuit – 9W Total – 23,5W All LEDs are protected behind safety glass 10
