This project investigates the creation of slime using PVA, borax, and water, conducted by Grade 2 students at KOSHI High School. We altered the concentrations of PVA and borax to study their effects on slime properties. Two key experiments were performed: one focused on varying PVA and borax concentrations, and the other involved making slime in phenolphthalein to observe color changes in different pH environments. Through these experiments, we aim to reveal insights into the slime's character, structure, and optimal preparation conditions.

What’s Slime? ・It’s made from PVA, borax and water. PVA Borax
We changed the reactants • We made slime in a pH indicator.
Experiment 1 We changed the reactants (1)We changed the concentration of PVA. (2)We changed the concentration of Borax.
Borax 4% Amount of water in slime • Concentration of PVA(%)
Borax 4% • Concentration of PVA(%)
Borax 2% Amount of water in slime • Concentration of PVA(%)
Borax 1% Amount of water in slime
Experiment 2 We made slime in a pH indicator. (1) We made slime in phenolphthalein. Phenol- phthalein

1. We are going to consider how we can change the color of the slime.
2. • We would like toinvestigate more about the character, the structure, and the conditions of making the slime.
Thank you for listening!!! Big love!
