  6. Facial Slope Line up teeth with bottom of protractor to measure slope of face, use the edge of your journal

  7. Brow Ridge (above the eyes), small medium or large Brow Ridge

  8. Dental Arcade: U or V shaped or Intermediate U shaped, molars parallel, note space (diastema) between incisors and canine teeth V shaped, molars fan out from front of jaw, no space (diastema), small canine te

  9. Canines (large or small)

  10. Foreman Magnum (where spinal cord enters the skull) does it enter underneath or towards the back?

  11. Calculating the Cranial Module (how big is the brain)

  12. Counting teeth & determining age • Some of the skulls are damaged and the teeth have fallen out, look carefully. • To determine the age of the skulls, look on the containers. • If no dates are listed the organisms are extant (still around, not extinct).
