7. Retaliation • George W. Bush has public address and states their will be justice served for this horrible crime • October 7, 2001 was the first official day starting the longest lasting war in US history.

10. Justified Going to War? • Bush believed Saddam Hussein had WMD, And were capable of attacking any part of the world. • And congress believed this was more than enough reason to invade Iraq.

13. Obama • Obama received the most popular vote in US history. • Was first African American President but also the first to even receive the nomination of one of the major political parties.

Obama • An African American historian at Brown University says, “This moment ranks with the Emancipation Proclamation, The ratification of the 13th Amendment, (which ended slavery) and the Brown vs. the Board of Education as one of the most significant events in the history of the United States” • An event as significant as this happens once in a lifetime.
