Mrs. Krause’s Web Page • My web page is an integral part of this class. • Assignments • Projects • Power points • Extra help • Informational web sites • Supply list requirements • Online textbook access My web page must be checked several times a week. Occasional pop quiz information may appear, additional notes, vocabulary lists, etc.,… **This Power Point will be available on the web page.

  5. email: mary_krause@nplainfield.org • Use my email to: • Ask questions or concerns regarding the class or student work • Parent contact by email • Submit work, as assigned, using only MS Word or MS Power point

Supply List – Geometry/ Geo H • notebook • binder or notebook and folder • 6 inch/cm ruler • protractor - used to measure angles • Compass – used for drawing circles & constructions • Mechanical pencils/pens • pencils required for tests/quizzes • textbook cover • Calculator - scientific calculator • internet access

  7. Most importantly, don't forget your Classroom Manners • Come prepared –supplies & assignments • do not walk around the room during class • raise your hand • respect others in the class • leave no trace behind • take your things • throw away your trash

Homework Policypractice to enhance learning • Assigned daily • Reviewed and checked daily • 90 – 100% complete = 5 pts • 50 - 80% complete – 3 pts • < 50% complete = 0 pts • Late homework is not accepted • Absent students must check my web page for assignments • These will be accepted within # days of return • Notes and assignments are on my webpage Practice, practice, practice!

  9. Test/Quiz Policy • Test per chapter • Quizzes weekly • Absences before a quiz or test are taken on the assigned day unless new material was missed. • Arrangements must be made within the week to make up a missed test or quiz.

  10. Grading Policy Quarterly Grades based on: • Tests – 40 % • Quizzes – 30% • Homework – 10% • Projects – 20% Practice to enhance your learning and increase your grades.

  11. All other Policies • School policies are always in effect • Refer to your Woodsman • ONLY the Woodsman will be signed out for a pass • YOU must sign out and back into class on the clipboard • Recycle recyclables, everything else trash
