  3. General guidelines • These guidelines are for training purposes. • In order to access the Legacy Reports, you should use Internet Explorer. (other browsers may affect the look and feel of the reports) • Use the same AD credentials (user/password) that you use to access your computer in the MDC domain. • Some reports will need basic parameters to get the result that you need. Some parameters are required and some are not. If you try to execute a report without entering any parameter and this requires a parameter, an alert will appear asking you to enter the required parameter. • Some reports may take more time than others to get all the results, this is related to the amount of data that it is being requested. • Some reports may have a column for “Details”, by clicking in this column you will get more information on that specific record. • You may export the report data to Excel using the “format type” combo box. You may export to other formats, but the best result is obtained from Excel. • During the navigation appear a series of buttons/Links that are not relevant for execute the reports, these are the following: My Subscriptions, Properties, History, Subscriptions and New Subscription. • In order to maintain the Header at the top of the report while you scroll, please add “mdc.edu” to the “compatibility view settings” inInternet Explorer. Main navigation buttons - 2/2 Collapse or Expand the header section to gain space for the Report First Page, Previous Page, Next Page and Last Page buttons Type of formats to export the Report, and the Export execution button • Other buttons/links are not relevant for the Report Execution.   7. 1. Login to the platform • Access the URL for the production environment for the legacy data Reports. URL: http://ssrs.mdc.edu/Reports/Pages/Folder.aspx • Use your actual credentials (user/password) to access to your computer in the MDC domain.   8. 2. Select: Odyssey - Legacy Reports • Select the “Odyssey – Legacy Reports” folder. Miami Dade College - District Office of Information Technology

  9. 3. Select the group of reports • Use the screen above to select the Folder and access the reports inside. Beware you may not have access to all Folders, that will depend on your permissions. Miami Dade College - District Office of Information Technology

  10. 4. Select the report to execute • You just need to select the report that you want to execute by clicking it. Miami Dade College - District Office of Information Technology

Execute the report and navigate • Once in the report, you just need to enter the parameters and execute the report. • If the report does not need parameters it will be executed immediately. • Once executed, you may navigate throughout the content of the report.
