  6. Disadvantages • Views of online degree versus traditional schooling degree • Lack of nonverbal communication • Students work alone. Can lead to isolation • Since students are on their own they may put off assignments • Technology may fail

  7. Cost • Online education can be much cheaper than traditional school • No longer paying for transportation, meal plans, room and board • Scholarship and financial aid packages available

  8. My Conclusion • Whether or not online schooling is beneficial depends on the student
