This presentation analyzes the case of Martin Hammar and Ronald Scott, addressing their mental illness histories as classified by DSM-IV-TR. With a GAF score of 40 and treatment over the past year rated at 55, we evaluate the effectiveness of primary care and psychiatric interventions. Emphasis is placed on psycho-education, skill building, and community support services, aiming to maintain independence and prevent institutionalization.
