  4. A Little Bit About Key Club… • Key Club International is the high school organization sponsored by Kiwanis International. Key Club assists Kiwanis in carrying out its mission to serve the children of the world. High school student members of Key Club perform acts of service in their communities, such as cleaning up parks, collecting clothing and organizing food drives. They also learn leadership skills by running meetings, planning projects and holding elected leadership positions at the club, district and international levels.

  5. Information: • Meetings - 3rd Thursday of the month at 7:40 am • Attendance – Important!! Keep up with our busy schedule of activities and share your ideas! • Requirements - At least 10 credited service hours each semester (7 of which must be for Key Club activities) • Outside service hours will count ½

  6. How to be Updated: • Bulletin Board across from Mrs. Raines’s Room • Lambert Key Club Facebook Page (and Key Club International’s FB!) • Key Club Website: Lambert website > Extracurricular > Clubs and Activities > Key Club • ITS Learning – forward your ITS Learning email to your home email and look for all documents here • Text @ae679 to 404-620-5121 for Key Club reminders • Talk to other Key Clubbers!

Service Hours • Be sure to keep an updated Log of Service Hours you complete outside of Key Club and have a sponsor, leader, etc. sign to confirm. • Also, use the outside service hours sheet that will be attached on ITS Learning • Community Service within the club: Make sure to sign-up beforehand and/or let an officer or Mrs. Raines know in order to get credit!

  11. T- Shirt Designs! • Do YOU think you have what it takes to be Lambert’s Key Club T-Shirt designer? Then Submit your design to Mrs. Raines! • Make it Unique, Creative, and more importantly, express who Lambert Key Club is!

  12. Save the Date: • Remember to pick up a registration form on your way out! • Dues are $20 + $10 for a t-shirt. • $6.50 goes to state Key Club dues. • $6.50 goes to national Key Club dues. • Registration forms and dues must be returned to Mrs. Raines by next Friday, August 30! • Next Meeting: September 26th, 2013 at 7:40 in Mrs. Raines’s Room (1808)
