Organizing Committee Introduction Forensic Entomology (FE) had its history way back in 13th century & began gaining more importance in today’s world. Forensic Entomology is the use of the insects, and their arthropod relatives that inhabit decomposing remains to aid legal investigations. Today forensic entomology, which is one of the most well-established areas of forensic biology, is regularly used to estimate postmortem interval and locate decomposition sites It is timely that the MSPTM and IMR takes the lead to train more personnel in this important field.Such training not only will impart new advances on participants, but will also help to standardize the practices of FE, rendering it a respectful discipline of biomedical science and also setting the bench mark of good practices.
