  1. The Most Epic Mindset Project Ever to be Shown to Human Life! The Digital Generation Wars By: Dylan and Alyssa

  2. Earvin "Magic" Johnson has always been HIV-positive Our parents grew up while Magic Johnson was healthy and playing basketball in the NBA. We’ve grown up while Magic was ill with HIV and advertising protection against it.

  3. Text Has always been Hyper Our parents grew up getting information and reading texts mostly out of books and off paper. They read lots of books and hand wrote lots of papers. Internet access was available to the public in 1992 and it exploded. We grew up using the internet where everything we needed was all at the click of a mouse.

  4. Rap music has always been mainstream Most of our parents think rap is senseless noise. They grew up surrounded by disco, rock & roll, and the transition into country rock etc. Rap didn’t even really exist when they were growing up.

  5. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice cream has always been a flavor choice. Our parents didn’t get to experience the lovely taste of chocolate chip cookie dough flavored ice cream until 1991. We were lucky enough to have grown up with the availability of this amazing flavor.

  6. They have always been able to read books on an electronic screen Our parents read books the old fashioned way. They went to the library and picked out real paper back or hard cover books and actually read them. Possibly getting a few paper cuts along the way. Growing up with our fancy computers and portable electronic devices, we are more often going on the internet to read a book or downloading it onto our iPads and such. Less and less kids are going to the library.

  7. There Has always been flat screen Televisions Our parents were raised using old, square, chunky and heavy television sets like so… They were lucky if they had color television with those things. We were raised with more updated and modern television sets with color and cable.

  8. Bungee jumping has always been socially acceptable When our parents were young, bungee jumping was actually frowned upon by many because it was considered dangerous –and it was. It wasn’t until the scientists of the Oxford University Dangerous Sports Club invented a modern cord for the jumps making the sport much safer. Now, bungee jumping is a very popular adrenaline sport that many people have on their bucket lists.

  9. There has always been blue Jell-O Our parents grew up eating the original flavors of Jell-O such as strawberry, orange, lemon, cherry, raspberry and lime. We grew up with more than 20 different flavors of Jell-O, one of which being Berry Blue Jell-O!

  10. There Has Always been a cartoon network When our parents were growing up, there was no specific channel or network for cartoons. If they wanted to watch cartoons, they had to set their alarms and get up bright and early Saturday morning to catch their favorite ones. While we were growing up, we could watch cartoons until at least mid afternoon. We now have different channels that are specifically cartoon channels.

  11. Tattoos have always been very chic and highly visible Most adults and grandparents nowadays frown upon tattoos. This is mostly because when they were growing up, tattoos were mainly associated with criminals and outlaws and rebels of society. However, they are gaining popularity with younger people in our generation and are more acceptable to us. This has to do with more and more people nowadays getting tattoos that are more classy and that have meaning behind them. Many celebrities are getting inked as well lately and this also is influencing a major part of our generation.

  12. Wireless cellphones have always been available and used Growing up, our parents didn’t have cell phones or any way to contact another person while they are out other than a pay-phone. Wireless cellphones were available to the public in the late 80’s. Therefore, our generation has lived with them all of our lives.

  13. They Have always had video games and electronic entertainment The first Nintendo Entertainment System wasn’t even released until the late 80’s. They didn’t grow up with any of the technology we used today. When they did have technology similar to ours it was simply the old and original Nintendo system, their Walkman, their ghetto blasters, their brick cell phones, etc. < We were born into a world with cell phones, internet, mp3 players, etc. We have always been surrounded with technology.
