HT-7 diagnostics
In the autumn of 2001, the HT-7 facility implemented various electro-magnetic diagnostics, including Mirnov coils for MHD analysis and magnetic probe arrays for internal inductance measurements. The research focused on electron density and temperature using five-channel HCN laser interferometry, Langmuir probes, and ECE techniques. Notably, soft-X-ray detectors monitored fluctuations and radiative power. The extensive diagnostic setup involved multiple types of monochromators, bolometers, and spectroscopic tools, aiming to gather detailed profiles of plasma parameters like Zeff, impurity levels, and Ha emission.
