    3. Audience Analysis The audience for the tutorial is geared toward middle school students to working professionals. The wording of the tutorial is more tailored for individuals that have some basic knowledge of computing or someone who has used a computer before. The tutorial covers various aspect of Microsoft Word 2007. It ranges from basic function such as opening MS Word to setting up security password for a document. So therefore, this tutorial can be used by beginners and advanced users.

    4. Format Learn by Doing. Screen shots dominate the tutorial and shorten the learning curve. No need for numbers for screenshots follow a logical sequence. Small number of steps to accomplish goal. Clearly tries to sell you a product before instructional material.

Use minimal text for explanations(let the pictures do the talking). Include the mouse cursor (arrow) in the Print Screen shot when identifying locations for user interface or use comment bubbles to direct user to exact screen location.
