Motion Sensor System Test at TBRL: Prospective Participants Needed

The Department of Defense is sponsoring a systems test at the Target Behavioral Response Lab at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. We are testing the capabilities of a motion sensor system with a large number of people (40-100). This is not a human research study, and participants will be compensated $20/hr and served pizza. Healthy volunteers older than 18 are needed. The study will take place on August 11th (with a rain date of August 17th). TBRL Target Behavioral Response Laboratory Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey Prospective Participants: The Department of Defense is sponsoring a systems test at the Target Behavioral Response Lab at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. An Outdoor System Capabilities Check with Pizza We are testing the capabilities of a motion sensor system with a large number of people (40-100). This is not a human research study; we are simply testing a motion sensor system. We will keep you entertained by serving you pizza as well as compensate you $20/hr. The study should take 2 hours. We need healthy volunteers older than 18. To participate,you should have no problems moving or hearing. The date of the study will be August 11th, with a rain date of August 17th. Directions Click Here to Download the PDF • Directions to Picatinny Arsenal—TBRL at the 3500 Area • 3518 Snake Hill Road, Rockaway, New Jersey • From Rte. 80 West (heading toward the Delaware Water Gap) •  Take Exit 35 B (Mt. Hope Ave.). Follow Mt. Hope Ave. You will pass a Spanish Restaurant on your left and make a very slight right onto Mt. Hope Road. • Follow Mt. Hope Road, making a left at the sign for Hibernia. • Continue on Mt. Hope Road and make a left just past the Mt. Hope Fire Co. It is actually the 2nd left after the firehouse. The first left is a very short road; you want the second one. • Continue following Mt. Hope Road to the end where you will make a right onto Lake Denmark Road. • Follow Lake Denmark Road (along the fence line) approx. 2.5 miles and turn right at Snake Hill Road. •  Go beyond the Natl. Guard Area (3801) a short distance. Our building (TBRL) is on the left. You can park along the fence line. The sign in front of the area reads: Homeland Defense Technology Center. We are directly across the street from a small mobile home park. #3518 is on the fence by our entry walkway. • From Rte. 80 East (heading toward New York City & Newark) • Take Exit 35. At the top of the ramp at the light, make a left onto • Mt. Need to Know Information • Dress appropriately for the given weather conditions • The experiment will be outside • Hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug repellent are suggested • Sneakers are recommended • Pizza and beverages will be provided • Please call Charlie at (973) 724 -9620if you are running late or need to cancel • If the weather conditions are questionable, check the bottom of the main TBRL page to see if the study will still take place that day • If the study is cancelled due to weather conditions, it will take place on August 17th
