  2. Purpose The purpose is to find out how much land is taken up around the field

  3. Background We used wood to make our gondola, fishing line to hold the carabineer to the hook on the balloon.We used 2.4 gigahertz color/infrared camera and its receiver to connect to the TV to get our data.

  4. Hypothesis and Tests We can use a grip and camera to find out how much land the school takes up. • The grid should have measurements • The land may not be in a perfect square We can find out how much different parts of the school takes up • We can find out how much space the buildings take up • We can find out how much space the grass takes up

  5. Results 10% plants 325,000 ft. plants 90% buildings 1,625,000 ft. buildings

  6. Analysis The data means that the school has a lot fewer amount of plant life than it has buildings.

  7. Conclusion We do not confidently reject our hypothesis. We are comfortable in accepting our hypothesis because it was accurate.
