Learning from the Past: Lessons from the Holocaust for Today's Injustices

This project aims to explore injustices happening in the world today by reflecting on American responses during the Holocaust. Students will brainstorm a list of current injustices and draw parallels to historical events. Key questions will guide discussions on the importance of learning from past actions and inactions, the need for these lessons to be shared with future generations, and the impact of youth understanding their historical context. This reflective exercise will encourage critical thinking about our roles in addressing injustice.
