  2. The first laptop • The first laptop to be commercially available was the Osborne 1, released in 1981 by the Osborne Computer Corporation. However, this laptop could only run off of a direct power supply, it didn't have a battery.

  3. Contd. • Later, in 1987, the air force requested a large amount of laptops, resulting in the first laptops successful in large-scales. but who invented it? Adam Osborne invented first laptop Also his assistant Katie Spencer helped.

  4. Purposes. . . . . . • The idea of the laptop came from a man named Alex Kay in the 1970’s. The purpose of the laptop is to provide users with the capabilities of a desktop computer rolled into a small, portable unit.

  5. Laptops today ! Laptops come in a variety of colors and sizes.

  6. Areas of interaction • Society in general, they would be addressed by who supports this product and who may oppose to it.

  7. Popular Product : ) • This product is a lot of help to business workers especially those who tend to travel. Laptops save a lot of time & money rather than buying a desktop computer.

  8. Contd. • Laptops are not only used at home or in the office, you can buy a mobile stick that allows you to have wireless internet & it gives you internet capability anywhere that you are.
