  2. Test scores and Required grades • MCAT score minimum required in 24. Average for 2011 was 31. • Undergraduate science is required to have a GPA of 3.00 or higher and an overall GPA of a 3.20 or higher.

  3. Tuition Costs per Semester • Tuition costs are $44,470 per year.

Housing costs • At home housing costs up to $2,000. • Off campus housing costs up to $9,729 • On campus housing costs up to $12,660 • *10 month time period (Year 1) • At home housing costs up to $2,200 • Off campus housing costs up to $10,702 • On campus housing cost up to $13,926 • *11 month period (Year 2)

  5. History • Matilda Dodge Wilson donated their estate and buildings along with two million dollars to fund Michigan state University-Oakland in 1957. They enrolled their first students (570) in 1959 and was later renamed Oakland Univeristy in 1963.

  6. Area Of Study: Physical Therapy • Pediatric Rehabilitation • Requirements: must be a licensed physical therapist, Physical therapy degree from ATPA or AOTA accredited program. Two years of clinical experience in pediatrics is highly recommended. • Requirements for Certificate: Students must complete each course with a grade of 2.5 and an overall GPA of 3.00

Facts • Oakland university has a partnership with Beaumont Hospital; and with that partner ship they are investing ten million dollars into creating a new school of medicine, that will bring more jobs to the for the region and state, improve the healthcare of all communities and inspire research that will cure diseases and prevent illnesses.
