Program Overview • Tata Motors GeMS is 4 ½ month long online management development program • It is designed to equip Tata Motors junior executives with the skills, knowledge and perspectives essential to working effectively in managerial roles. The programme is structured as a combination of approx. 48 online classes and 2 days of physical classroom sessions to impart softer skills that cannot be effectively transmitted online.   8. Participant Assessment Participants will be assessed based on the following Note – Participants need to score minimum of 50% in each of the three modules to successfully complete this program and to receive a certificate Tata Management Training Centre - 2010

  9. Successful participants will be given grades • Gold – 75% and above • Silver – Between 60 to 74.4% • Bronze – Between 50 to 59.4% Tata Management Training Centre - 2010

  10. Since e-learning is a new way of learning, here are a few points to remember • There will be a time delay – Faculty presentations (ppts) and their speeches will not reach you instantly. Also, when you ask a question, there will be a slight delay before it reaches the faculty – so please be patient • Please make sure that you are in a room where there is no background noise • Please “log in’ into each session at least 10 minutes early • If system kicks you out during the session, please click on the link that has been sent to you for that session and you will be able to get in • Please use your headsets and not your computer speakers as far as possible • You need a regular broadband connection to attend these sessions. Wireless connection will give you poor performance • For any technical difficulties, please contact Tata Communications at live.classes@tatacommunications.com • After each of the on-line class, the presentation used, will be uploaded on to the Tata GeMS website for your reference Tata Management Training Centre - 2010
