  3. How is it made up? The sector is made up of 13 distinct areas; Advertising Architecture Arts & Antiques Crafts Design Designer fashion Film Interactive leisure software Music Performing arts Publishing Software & computer services TV & Radio

  5. Major Sector Developments The future looks good for the creative industries. As one of the only expanding sectors of the UK economy in a time of contraction it is important to note the government has highlighted this sector for growth with the passing of The Creative Scotland Bill in 2010. Not only has the government recognised this sectors importance to the economy…the year 2012 is… THE YEAR OF CREATIVE SCOTLAND – a yearlong programme of activity, celebration and promotion of Scotland’s creative and cultural strengths across the World stage.
