NHS March general Meeting. Induction Ceremony 3/27. We are going to need members to escort new members across the stage at induction next Wednesday. In order to do so, please see Lauren to sign up. Please be there at 6:30pm at the Auditorium in church attire.

  2. Induction Ceremony 3/27 • We are going to need members to escort new members across the stage at induction next Wednesday. • In order to do so, please see Lauren to sign up. • Please be there at 6:30pm at the Auditorium in church attire. • Guys, this means pants and a nice shirt • Girls, this means a nice dress that is a school appropriate length

  3. National Student Leadership Week April 1st- 5th We are going to need some help making the display cases and hanging up signs, so please see Grace, our Leadership VP for more information on what you can do to help out.

  4. Benefit Concert 4/19 Please be aware that you must participate in this fundraiser in some way shape or form according to our bylaws. Vision: Relay for Life vibe. Concert/hangout session on the KHS soccer field with games/activities. Point opportunities -Set Up/Clean Up -Working games -Bring a friend that’s not in NHS Publicity • Hang up flyers around the school/ community • Paint signs

  5. Recycling Don’t forget to help out Ross this Friday with Recycling! Bring a friend and earn points! The more people we have, the faster the job gets done!

  6. Barc Supply Drive We are looking to host a drive for dog and cat supplies for the animal shelter in our area! The date is yet to be decided, but if you are interested in helping out, please talk to Avery Trudell after this meeting!

  7. Other Point Opportunities • •St. Martha's Catholic Church needs tutors EVERY Monday and Wednesday from 3:15pm-4pm. Please park in the main parking lock on Woodland Hills and sign in at the front office (ring the bell at the left of the doors by the front office). • •Twlya's Friends needs help putting up and taking down signs! Signs needed to be put up between 9:00am and 10:00am on the first and third Saturdays of every month. Signs need to be placed at the intersection of Kingwood Drive and Woodland Hills Please contact twylasfriends@yahoo.com for any questions and to sign up. • •Shadow Forest Elementary School spring carnival on April 13th from 2:45 till 7pm. Volunteers will be working carnival games. Also they need volunteers to help set up at 12:15pm-2:45. If you are interested please email clista_graff@hotmail.com

  8. Point Opps • Woodland Hills Elementary school is looking for volunteers for their Spring Carnival. Please contact Tracy Leith for more information. tracynleith@hotmail.com • •Sand Creek Sea Lions swim team is having a stoke camp from April 22nd- May 10th. Practice would be after school. Please contact John Silcott at johnandjenny@kingwoodcable.net or Debbie Hughes at debbie.j.hughes@hotmail.com if you are interested! • Want to help out at the FillieSpring Show? THIS Friday. They need help with traffic control outside, handing out programs (6:15). Female volunteers needed. Email michelle.parnell@wellsfargo.com for more information. See website.

  9. Seniors • Point Deadline: April 26th • Scholarship online is posted! • If you are still on probation, you will not wear your collar at graduation. Please get that taken care of/ take care to NOT get on probation

  10. Juniors • Point Deadline: May 10th • Prospective Officer Meeting: Next Tuesday, March 26th right after school in Mrs. Cobb’s room.

  11. Last Words… • Seniors, this was your last General Meeting for NHS! Congratulations on making it through, and we are so glad you were part of this organization! • Juniors, you have a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, April 24th to elect your new officers! Note that this is a mandatory meeting.
