  3. And so I face the final curtain

  4. My friend, I'll say it clear

  5. I'll state my case, of which I'm certain.

  6. I've lived a life that's full.

  7. I've traveled each and ev'ry highway;

  8. And more, much more than this,

  9. I did it my way.

  10. Regrets, I've had a few;

  11. But then again, too few to mention.

  12. I did what I had to do

  13. And saw it through without exemption.

  14. I planned each charted course;

  15. Each careful step along the byway,

  16. And more, much more than this,

  17. I did it my way.

  18. Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew

  19. When I bit off more than I could chew.

  20. But through it all, when there was doubt,

  21. I ate it up and spit it out

  22. I faced it all and I stood tall; And did it my way.

  23. I've loved, I've laughed and cried.

  24. I've had my fill; my share of losing

  25. And now, as tears subside, I find it all so amusing.

  26. To think I did all that; And may I say - not in a shy way,

  27. “Oh no, oh no not me, I did it my way".

  28. For what is a man, what has he got?

  29. If not himself, then he has naugh

  30. To say the things he truly feels;

  31. And not the words of one who kneels.

  32. The record shows I took the blows -And did it my way!
