  4. 6 main components in the mechanics of a Jump Shot • Feet • Knees • Elbow • Shooting Hand • Guide Hand • Follow Through

  5. Feet • Square to basket • Shoulder width apart

  6. Knees • Bent like your about to sit in chair • About 45 degree angle • Bent BEFORE you catch ball

  7. Elbow • Over knee, under ball • Triceps parallel to ground • Forearm perpendicular to triceps

  8. Shooting Hand • Wrist bent like waiter • Ball on pads of fingers

  9. Guide Hand • On side of ball • Lightly resting • Create window

  10. Eyes • Always on basket • Look where you want the ball to go
