  1. Paul Harris Society District 7770 The District 7770 Paul Harris Society was organized in the Centennial year 2004-2005 and chaired by Anne Matthews. The goal was to secure 100 Charter Members - Achieved 126. Currently have 226 active members The optimal organizational structure is to establish a District PHS Chair so focus and commitment to the PHS program is paramount. Avoid having your DRFC or Annual Giving Chair take on this additional task.

  2. Paul Harris Society District 7770 • Most effective approach is to lay out a plan for the Rotary Year designed to maximize the opportunities to secure new Paul Harris Society Members. • Presentations on the PHS program are made at the Foundation Seminar in September, PETS in February and the District Assembly in April of each year.

  3. Paul Harris Society District 7770 • Make it as easy as possible for members to contribute. • Offer credit card, monthly or quarterly installments either thru TRF-Direct or Club dues. • Emphasize the ease of doing TRF direct for less than $85 a month. **Most of us spend more than that for Starbucks monthly.

  4. Paul Harris Society District 7770 • Send an email on July 1st to all incoming Club Presidents, Foundation Chairs, Foundation Advocates, AG's and District Leadership team to review the PHS opportunities. • Include the application, a Q&A page and info on ordering the special badges pinned to the PHS Banner. • Send an email/letter to all current PHS members thanking them for their past participation and providing them with info on renewing their commitments. This is done on July 1st as well.

  5. Paul Harris Society District 7770 • Send individual reminders 30 days prior to the PHS member's renewal date to remind them of their renewal commitment. • A special PHS banner is given to all clubs that have a PHS member. They pin special PHS badges to the banner and display at their weekly meeting.

  6. Paul Harris Society District 7770 • A special PHS certificate and PHS pin is presented to all new PHS members by a member of the District leadership team. • Renewal thank you letters are mailed to all individuals when they renew along with a copy of the Form 123-EN sent to the Foundation.

  7. Paul Harris Society District 7770 • The President and Foundation Chair of all clubs without a PHS member are sent emails once a quarter to assist them with securing a PHS member.

  8. Paul Harris Society District 7770 • Based on data received from TRF staff on individual contributions that exceed $1000: • check against district PHS membership • follow up with Clubs to see if these individuals want to join the PHS.
