What are the 8 STEPS to Certification? STEP ONE: EDGE Membership* STEP TWO: Request for EDGE Certification Guidelines. STEP THREE: Receipt of EDGE Assigned Number & EDGE Certification Guidelines. STEP FOUR: Conduct a kick-off celebration/presentation for your student body to announce your new commitment to the planet. STEP FIVE: Schedule EDGE workshops for your teachers and staff. **
STEP SIX: Implementation of certification guidelines & electronic documentation of certification process.STEP SEVEN: Electronic submission of completed documentation of the EDGE Certification Guidelines. Section I must be submitted within 30 days from receipt of the guidelines.STEP EIGHT: When approved, a school is required to maintain and submit an annual checklist of all certification guidelines for 3 years from the initial date certification is awarded.*Note: Annual membership must be kept active to be accredited.**Note: Workshops may be scheduled through the EDGE for in-house presentations (Miami, Florida), Skype presentations or through a selected EDGE trained school employee to provide the training to teachers and staff.
