  1. Lord’s Supper Observance Sunday, August 23rd. The Deacon in charge of preparing the Lord’s Supper will be Barton Teague. Deacons to serve the Lord’s Supper are Lane, Hoover, Coleman, Teague. We will have a work day at the church. Need all men & women that can come and work. Young at Heart – Will meet August 4th at 11:00 AM. Meat and drinks will be provided. Bring a side dish or dessert. First Ladies (Baptist Women) – Will meet August 4th at 6:00 PM. Eating Disorder Anonymous – August 3rd and August 17th7:00 PM. For those who are struggling or have struggled with eating disorders to share our strength, hope, and support with each other. We will meet the first and third Monday of the month at 7:00 PM. Game Night & Finger Foods – Sr. Adults 50+ in Fellowship Hall at 6:30 PM August 14th. Bring your favorite food and games. Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace – Begins August 20th 6:00 PM each Thursday for 13 weeks. If interested please contact the office by August 5th. We’ll have to order your membership kit. Highly recommended by Bro. John. Quartet Convention-August 22nd at Highland Hills Baptist Church. If you would like to go, the bus will leave the church at 4:15 PM. No admission love offering taken. Ladies Sewing Group - Meets the second Thursday at 9:00 AM and the fourth Thursday at 6:30 PM. Everyone welcome. Bible Study – Every Thursday, at 1:30 PM in a classroom near the office. Buster encourages everyone to attend. Billy Graham tells of a time early in his career when he arrived in a small town to preach a sermon. Wanting to mail a letter, he asked a young boy where the post office was.When the boy told him, Rev. Graham thanked him and said, “If you’ll come to the Baptist church this evening, you can hear me telling everyone how to get to Heaven.”“I don’t think I’ll be there,” the boy said. “You don’t even know your way to the post office.”
