For example, emergency vehicles like fire trucks, ambulances, etc. would be prioritized.   1. What are the basic components of Traffic Signal Monitoring Systems? Description:- Traffic Congestion is a big issue. Time taken for traveling will be increased because of this congestion problem; a solution was looked into with the help of wireless technology with some specific development sensors and boards. An algorithm was also designed to ensure that many vehicles can go through a signal. Priorities would be given to some categories of vehicles. For example, emergency vehicles like fire trucks, ambulances, etc. would be prioritized. So, a good Traffic Signal Monitoring System plays a vital role in managing traffic, mainly in highly congested urban regions. The next priority will be given to VIP and ordinary vehicles. Preference will be given to one side of the road, depending on vehicle density. The road with a higher vehicle volume would be allowed the highest priority. As the ambulance can get the right-of-way, a green path for emergency vehicles is also designed to provide a green sign. But the drawback is that all vehicles will want to move in that open lane, creating even more traffic for the ambulance. In the future, the improvement of Traffic Monitoring Signals (TMS) will be that an ambulance will easily communicate with all base stations to get an open lane to reach the hospital on time. The monitoring system also provides solutions to congestion, clearance of traffic for emergency vehicles, and tracking stolen vehicles. TMS timing has been established by using various features of hardware components. Traffic optimization is achieved for effective utilization of allocating different times to all traffic signals considering the number of vehicles on the road. TMS will help people realize proper signal timing and traffic flow volume in their respective places.
