  1. Writing Targets I can list the features of a text and structure it so it has a beginning, middle and end. I can use an introduction to explain and introduce my writing. I can use a conclusion to summarise, make judgements and justify my ideas. Maths Targets I can round numbers to the nearest whole number, ten, hundred or thousand. I can interpret data from a tally chart and bar chart. I can recall important number facts to help me with my mental maths. I can interpret data from a bar chart and a line graph. I can solve algebra problems mentally. I can interpret data from a range of graphs and charts. Have you written and underlined the date and WALT? Are you following the steps to success? Reading Targets I can use known strategies to understand unfamiliar words. I can find words and phrases used by the author for effect. I can articulate a personal response to a text. Have you read and recorded in your reading record book at least 3 times this week? Have you assessed a classmate’s work recently and have they assessed yours? Are you ready to sign off one of your targets yet?
