Senate A. Qualifications • Age: 30 years of age. • Residency: Must live in the state which elected. • Citizenship: Must be a United States citizen for 9 years. • Elections • Every 6 years. • Responsibilities • Choose officers. • Try all impeachments. • When the president of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside.
Article Two: Executive Branch: President • Qualifications: • Age: 35 years of age. • Residency: Must live in the United States for 14 years. • Citizenship: Must be a natural born citizen. • Elections: • Every 4 years. • Responsibilities: • Carry out and enforce laws made by congress. • Make treaties with foreign nations. • Appoint certain important government officials. • Act as commander-in-chief of the armed forces. • Veto laws passed by congress.
