  1. Christian Fundamentals The Bible

  2. The bible As a born again Christian, I believe the Bible, and specifically the King James Bible, to be the divinely inspired and therefore inerrant word of God. The next slide shows a chart depicting the paths of the King James Bible and it’s predecessors, and that of the new versions.

  3. The bible

  4. The bible Now, you may wonder why so much attention is placed on the Antiochian stream in the chart we just saw. The answer lies in what we find in Scripture. Acts 11:26 (KJV) And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

  5. The bible Notice Rome is not mentioned as the place where the disciples were first called Christians. Rome was not the seat of the church with Peter as the church’s first pope. Christians were first called Christians in Antioch and there was no pope.

  6. The bible You can find the chart we saw on the Bible Believer’s Fellowship website at the following address: www.kjvbiblebelievers.com/charts.php Our own Pastor, Greg Miller developed this chart along with the others you will find there!

  7. The bible The King James Bible is the source every Christian must go to in order to learn about the things of God. It seems like common sense, but unfortunately common sense is missing in today’s world. The KJV, and none of the other corrupted versions all based on the Vatican Text, is our only true, inerrant source of Scripture.

  8. The bible Our King James Bible is the word of God. As was stated before, in order for us to learn the things of God, we must go to the Bible for the instruction. Every aspect of our life and how we live our lives is found in Scripture. When Jesus was being tempted by the Devil during those 40 days in the desert after his baptism, he told Satan these words, Matthew 4:4 (KJV) But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

  9. The bible Ever run into one of those folks that call themselves “Red Letter Christians?” Take them to Matthew 4:4 Every word contained in the entire Bible has proceeded out of the mouth of God. It is the Word of God! You cannot just pick out the red-letter ones and ignore the rest, because they are all the words of God. Every single word in the Old and New Testaments were breathed by God and written by men.

  10. The bible 2 Peter 1:20–21 (KJV) Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

  11. The bible 2 Timothy 3:16–17 (KJV) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

  12. The bible Folks, it doesn’t take a genius to see that the Word of God is just that, the Word of God! It is there from God for our use in every aspect of our lives. All we have to do is read it and believe it. Those that read, believe and apply those things from Scripture in their lives are accounted as wise in the eyes of God. On the other hand, they are considered fools by the world. It should be a rhetorical question, but who do you want to be accounted to as wise?

  13. The bible God gives us all the information we need and then it is up to us to believe it and use it, or force ourselves to not believe it and exercise the wisdom of this world.

  14. The bible Romans 1:19–22 (KJV) Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

  15. The bible Have you ever considered how foolish it is that folks will not believe in the inspiration and inerrancy of God, but will believe in the inspiration and inerrancy of man? People who do that are not, as we just read, doing it out of ignorance, but out of foolish pride … they are all STUPID!! Professing themselves to be wise they became fools!

  16. The bible The Bible, and once again, the King James Bible, is truly the inspired and inerrant Word of God. We don’t have time to go over it now, but spend some time and look at the prophecies in Scripture concerning the coming of the Messiah, Jesus. You will find it to be inspired and inerrant! Things like his birthplace, being born of a virgin, being crucified on a cross, being handed over by one of his own disciples for thirty pieces of silver, causing the lame to walk, the blind to see, … the list just goes on and on.

  17. The bible Because the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, we can safely put our trust in it. As I said before, we need to use it to learn about how to live our lives as is pleasing to God. I like what God says about us whose ways please Him, Proverbs 16:7 (KJV) When a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. We just need to make sure we are living in a way that is pleasing to God and not what we may think is the right way!

  18. The bible Here are some Words from God concerning our walk with Him through His Word, Psalm 119:105 (KJV) Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Not just good words to a song, but it’s what God says!

  19. The bible Proverbs 4:20–22 (KJV) My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

  20. The bible Psalm 119:17–20 (KJV) Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word. Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. Iam a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me. My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times. Psalm 119:71 (KJV) It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.

  21. The bible Psalm 119:72 (KJV) The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver. At the time this message is being preached, a lottery drawing had been held the previous day with a jackpot of $640 million. People were lining up all day long to purchase chances to win this. Folks $640 million pales in comparison to the Word of God, but yet people are not lining up to freely hear the Words of God. That is nearing the apex of foolishness!

  22. The bible The Word of God is being expunged from every area of our society in this day and we are seeing the fruits of this choice. We still have the choice to freely worship the one, true, living God and a great majority of this country chooses every other man-made god to worship, and we are seeing the fruits of this choice. This is not the result of just an increase in the number of people as a whole, but an increase in the number of people who choose to live ungodly lives.

  23. The bible How many people who claim to be Christians in this country spend even 15 minutes a week reading God’s Word as found in the King James Bible? I’m claiming not many because of the fruits I see from these self-proclaimed Christians. Let’s take a look for a moment at the first chapter of the Gospel of John.

  24. The bible John 1:1–5 (KJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. John 1:14 (KJV) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

  25. The bible Jesus is that Word made flesh who dwelt among us! God has given us the Words we need in our King James Bible. Is there more? Yes there is, because the wisdom of God in infinite. Consider what John said about just the things done by Jesus while on this earth, John 21:25 (KJV) And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

  26. The bible As born again Christians we are and will be without excuse for not spending the time we should to learn from Jesus … to learn from our inspired, inerrant King James Bible. As we know, we are not saved by doing this work, but because we have believed on Jesus. For me, it’s the least I can do to learn of Jesus who paid the price for my sins.

  27. The bible If you have not believed on Jesus for your salvation, there is still time. You have the opportunity to freely choose between eternal life with Jesus or eternal damnation in hell. It’s a black and white decision, so you don’t have to try and figure out any gray area. Those who do not believe as God has given us the opportunity to, will end up spending the whole of eternity, that’s forever and forever, in the eternal Lake of Fire. A place of constant torment and pain with absolutely no hope of ever escaping it. It will make the hard and troublesome times on this earth seem like a day of blissful peace in comparison. I beg you to believe on Jesus and receive the free gift of salvation from all this never-ending torment. A get out of Hell free card.

  28. The bible Salvation is a free gift from God that can not be earned Ephesians 2:8–9 (KJV) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

  29. The bible Salvation comes to those who believe and proclaim it Romans 10:9–10 (KJV) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

  30. The bible The King James Bible is our source for all things of God. It will be the source for all we learn in this series on Christian Fundamentals. First and foremost, though, you must be saved by believing on the author and finisher of our faith, the author and finisher of this Book. God is the one who made all things through the power of His Word, He created us, He has given us this King James Bible for instruction in all things concerning us including how we must be saved from His Wrath which has to come. Will you believe on Jesus? Will you believe in this inspired, inerrant, infallible King James Bible? Once again, the choice is yours!
