Understanding Infinitives in Spanish: A Comprehensive Overview
This lesson focuses on Spanish infinitives, which are un-conjugated verbs ending in -ar, -er, or -ir. Infinitives translate to "to" + verb, enabling fundamental sentence construction. Examples include hablar (to speak), comer (to eat), and vivir (to live). We explore additional verbs such as montar en bicicleta (to ride a bike), correr (to run), and nadar (to swim). Learn how to ask questions with "gustar" while discussing preferences in activities. This foundational knowledge is essential for effective communication in Spanish.
