Ireland Job Interview Authorisation • For companies who are recruiting occupations on the highly skilled occupations list, applicant may be granted visa to enter the state for up to 90 days. • During this period if applicant is successful at interview Visafirst can apply for a work permit for the applicant and they will be allowed to remain onshore while a decision is reached on the work permit application. • Benefits: • Allows the employer to meet the applicant face to face. • Issued for: up to 90-days. • Processing Time: up to 5 business days.

  9. Ireland Third Level Graduate Scheme • Third Level Graduates can remain in Ireland, after they complete their studies to work. Eligible applicant may apply for a work permit. • Notes: • On this scheme, student may work full time. • Students can stay in Ireland for a maximum of 7 years. • Benefits: • Allows the employer to meet the applicant face to face. • Issued for: From 6 to 12 months.

  10. IrelandGeneral Employment Permit • The Work Permit assume all occupations to be eligible unless otherwise specified. • Requirements: • A job offer of minimum remuneration of €30,000pa. Applications where the remuneration is below €30,000 accepted in exceptional circumstances. • A labour market test needs to be completed- there are exceptions. • The applicant must process the relevant qualifications, skills or experience. • There are limitations on the minimum number of EEA nationals required. • Issued for: up to 2 years and can be renewed for a further 3 years.

Critical Skills Employment Permit ( • This permit is designed to attract highly skilled people into Ireland with the aim of encouraging them to take up permanent residence. • Requirements: • Remuneration of €60,000 or more. • Job offer of 2 year duration. • The Critical Skills Permit is also available to certain occupations earning remuneration between €30,000-€60,000 including ICT professionals, professional engineers and technologists, business and financial professionals. • Issued for: 2 years, renewable.

  12. Ireland Partner Employment Permit • The permit is for Dependants / Partners / Spouses of holders of Critical Skills Employment Permits. • Requirements: • The Remuneration can be less than €30,000 but not less than the National Minimum Wage. • The Job offer can be for any occupation. • Issued for: For the duration of the Critical Skills Employment Permit of the partner or up to 2 years.

Ireland Contract for Services Employment Permit • The permit is for Foreign Companies to act as Contractors to provide services to an Irish entity. • Requirements: • The contractor must register with the Revenue as an employer and with the CRO (if applicable). • Labour Market Test may be required. • The basic remuneration must be at least €40,000. • The occupation must not be included in the list of ineligible occupations. • Issued for: up to 2 years, extension to max 5 years.

  15. CanadianWorking Holiday Visa This is a Temporary Resident Visa open to all occupations. Requirements: • Eligible passport • Less than 36 years for Irish passports • Police clearance • Compulsory professionals & trades need to be licensed Issued for: up to 2 years Spouse & Family: No. Dependents apply for their own visas.

  16. Canadian Intercompany Transferee The permit allows an overseas national to live and work in Canada. It is a temporary resident visa. Without the need for Labour Market Impact Assessment. Requirements: • The applicant must be able to evidence employment with the overseas branch prior to application for 1 year in the previous 2 years via payroll or contract. • The company must have a direct link with the Canadian company by common ownership Issued for: initially for 1 year, can be extended for up to a maximum of 7 years.

  17. Canadian Work Permit The Canadian Work Permit allows an overseas national to live and work in Canada. It is a temporary resident visa. There is no age requirement. Requirements: • Compulsory professionals & trades may need to be licensed before they can apply including teachers, medical, accountants, ironworker, panel beater, electrician, etc., dependant on state. • Your employer needs to get Labour Market Impact Assessment. Visafirst.com can assistemployer with this application. Issued for: up to 2 years and can be renewed.

  18. Canada Experience Programme (CEP) This is a permanent resident visa to allow applicant to live and work in Canada permanently. It allow a successful temporary placement to remain in Canada indefinitely. Requirements: • Applicant will need to evidence 12 months Canadian work experience in the last 3 years in a skilled occupation. Spouse & Family: Yes

Applicant has 12 months to enter once the visa is granted, the year starts on date of entry. • Requirements: • Eligible passport • Less than 31 years for Irish passports • Evidence of funds • There is a work limitation of 6 months with any one employer. • Issued for: 1 year with an option to apply for a 2nd year. • Spouse & Family: No. • Processing Time: 48 hours.

Australian Employer Sponsored Visa • This is a Temporary Resident Visa available to over 600 occupations. • Requirements: • Employer must be approved to sponsor foreign workers. • Job offer must be for a minimum of $53,900 pa. • Salary must meet local market rates. • Employer must meet Training requirements. • Employer must demonstrate efforts to hire Australian employees. • Applicant may need to complete IELTS & skills assessment. • Issued for: 1 to 4 years for new sponsoring employers, can be renewed. • Spouse & Family: Yes.
