  1. JEE Main 2018: What’s New and What You Ought to Know Before You Charge In! Each year, the Central Board of Secondary Education is the exam conducting authority which is responsible for organizing and giving admission to candidates on the basis of the exam. Each year, more than 12 lakh students apply for the JEE Mains and only 2,40,000 students make it to the next level, or round 2 of the single most competitive entrance exam of the country; the JEE Advanced which gives admission to candidates into IITs. Now for all you young aspirants out there who have already applied for the JEE Main 2018 and are just waiting for the exam to commence, we have some important changes to mention that have joined the parlance of the JEE Main 2018 notification details. Here’s what’s new in 2018: CBSE has announced that diabetic candidates will now be able to carry, fruits, sugar tablets and water bottles inside the exam hall. An additional 4000 candidates will now be able to apply for the JEE Advance 2018 as the limit for the applicants has gone up from the 2,26,000 mark to the 2,20,000 mark.

  2. From the year 2018, digital copies of signature of the Father/ Mother/ Guardian are now required to be uploaded by the candidates while filling up the application form for the exam. All candidates appearing from Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadar & Nagar Haveli get the additional option of appearing for the paper in Gujarati, except from English and Hindi. The total number of cities applicable for eligible test centres has gone up from 113 last year to 258 this year. The total number of participating CFTIs has increased from 20 in the previous year to 23 from this year onwards. Have a clear -ut timetable and adhere to the same, every single day. This allows the candidates to finish the syllabus in the given time period. 2.Go THROUGH The Syllabus: Make it a point not to miss out on any single topic or heading that falls under the syllabus for JEE main 2018. Covering each and every topic down to the core concepts is of crucial importance for the candidates to make sure that they do not miss out on anything when writing the exam paper. 3.Analyse Previous Years Question Papers: What the candidates should do is to analyse the previous year’s question papers to understand the type of questions that are going to be asked in the actual exam paper.
