  4. Irthington Village School • Is in the Carlisle Rural Sure Start Children’s Centre Footprint. • There are 17 established nurseries within this Footprint. • There are no nurseries within the primary school catchment for Irthington Village School.

  5. Irthington Village School Proposal • To form a nursery for a maximum of 8 children per session • Nursery children would share facilities with the Reception class • Proposing to operate 1 session per day, 5 days a week, 9am-12pm during term-time.

  8. Next steps • Consultation ends 30 July • Cabinet makes decision 13 September • If agreement, publication of Statutory Notice 28 September • Final decision expected 06 December • Implementation of any changes 1st January 2013
