1. Portal Clinical FlowsheetClinical Informatics Education The Clinical Flowsheet displays patient data from Horizon Clinicals in a format similar to the paper nursing flowsheet; this is not available in Mobile Portal. • Once you have selected your patient, click on the Clinical Flowsheet tab. • The time interval will default to Exact Time • The flowsheet will start on the current date and is defaulted to go back 3 calendar days. These dates can be changed by selecting the preferred range(s) and clicking the Refresh button to the right of these options. • **Please note that you must chose a Start date and select a number of past days in the order for the flowsheet to produce data.** • You can choose to collapse values into time ranges by clicking on the drop down-arrow in this box. • The collapsed summary rows will display in gray • Click in the time range box to expand that time range and view all data entries within that time frame. • Correlation Profiles: Offer quick links to other clinical information • My View: can be customized for each user. This is the only profile that can be customized. • Vitals: Shows IV Med Drips, Vital Signs and Resp. • M.A.R. (Medication Administration Record): Shows all meds and IV Drips • Input/ Output: Shows I&O Summary, Intake & Output Values, and rates of non-medicated IVF. The non-medicated IVF rates are distinguished form the intake volume by the ‘(Rate)’.

2. How to read the data: • Values in RED are abnormal values • Values in a YELLOW BOX have a comment attached – click in the box to view the comment. • Values in a PINK BOX indicate that there were abnormal values during the specified time frame. • Values that are in RED with a PINK BOX indicate that all values during the specified time frame are abnormal. • Values that are in a PINK and YELLOW STRIPED BOX indicate that the values are abnormal and have a comment attached. • The I&O Summary is 24 hour total from 0700 previous day to 0700 today.
