Skeppsmask

This study examines the phenomenon of "skeppsmask" in log wood and compares it to fresh wood. The echoes, wobbling effect, and fluctuations in transmission strength are analyzed. Surprisingly, wood with skeppsmask exhibits stronger echoes and higher TS fluctuations compared to fresh wood. There is also a noticeable difference in the ringing behind the target.
