  2. Welcome to 3rd Grade! • This is an important year for you! • I will give you an introduction to 3rd grade and to our classroom. • If you have any questions during my presentation, please raise your hand and wait to be called on.

  3. All About Me • My Background • I grew up in Pine Creek. • I attended Bay Elementary, Bay High, and East College. • My Experience • I’ve been teaching for 20 years. • I have taught 5th and 6th grades, but 3rd is my favorite.

  4. My Family • My Husband • Bob • My Children • Daughters, Jan and Suzie • Son, Jeff • Our Pets • Dog, Spot • Cat, Fluffy

  5. Goals • To give you the academic tools you need to progress to 4th grade. • To provide a supportive learning environment. • To have fun while we learn. • To make new friends and discover new interests.

  6. Class Content • We will cover all the subjects and topics that our state believes are important for you to learn during 3rd grade.
