Investigating the Effect of Temperature on Gas Volume

This experiment explores how different temperatures affect the volume of a specific gas. Multiple samples were heated to varying temperatures, and their volumes were measured three times at each temperature setting. The average volume for each temperature was calculated, allowing for an in-depth analysis of gas behavior under thermal conditions. The experiment aims to identify the independent variable (temperature), dependent variable (gas volume), and best graphical representation for the results from the raw and processed data collected.

  1. BR: Experimental Stuff • Samples of a gas (each started off the same, and it was the same type of gas) were heated to different temperatures. For each temperature, 3 samples of gas were measured and the volume was recorded. The average volume of the three trials was calculated. • What was the IV? DV? Levels? Raw data? Processed data? Which graph is the BEST GRAPH for this experiment?
