Definition of Decision • A decision is • a moment in an ongoing process • for evaluating alternatives • for meeting an objective • at which expectations about • a particular course of action • impel the decision maker to select that course of action • which is most likely to result in attaining the objective • A decision is first of all an act • but an act that requires judgement • A judgement requires a choice to become a decision D Fred Wenstøp
