  2. Victoria water Falls are located on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. 1.7 kilometers wide and 108 meters high. Las cataratas Victoria están situados en la frontera de Zambia y Zimbabwe. 1,7 kilometros de ancho y 108 metros de altura. As Cataratas Victoria, estão situadas na fronteira da Zambia e Zimbabwe. 1,7 km de largura e 108 m de altura.

  3. David Livingstone, o explorador escocês, visitou a cascata em 1855 e a batizou com o nome da raínha Victoria. Ela ainda é conhecida, no local, como Mosi-oa-Tunya, “a fumaça que troveja”. A cascata forma parte de dois parques nacionais: Parque Nacional de Mosi-ao-Tunyana Zambia e o Parque Nacional das Cataratas Victoria no Zimbabwe. É uma das maiores atrações turísticas da África austral (sul). Foram declaradas Patrimonio da Humanidade pela UNESCO, no ano de 1989, abarcando a área protegida uma extensão de 8.780 ha. A partir de 2010, as Cataratas Victoria estarãointegradas dentro da Área de Conservação Kavango-Zambeze. David Livingstone, Scottish explorer, visited the waterfall in 1855 and baptized with the name of Queen Victoria. It is still known on the spot as Mosi-oa-Tunya "The smoke that thunders." The waterfall is part of two national parks: National Park Mosi-ao-Tunya in Zambia and the National Park Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. It is one of the biggest attractions in southern Africa (south). Has been declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 1989, protected area covering an area of 8780 ha. Since 2010, the Victoria Falls will be integrated within the Conservation Area Kavango-Zambezi.

  8. Entre setembro e dezembro, devido ao baixo nível da água, pode-se tomar banho, sem risco aparente, à beira das cataratas, nesta piscina natural.
