  2. Pronunciation Tips 1. Don’t confuse pronunciation of words with their spelling. Ex: “threw” and “through” or “four” and “for”.

  4. 3. Observe the mouth movements of those who speak English well and try to imitate them.

  5. 4. When you are watching film, observe the mouth movements of the speakers.

  6. 5. Slow your speech down. 6. Listen to the music of English. 7. Use the dictionary

  7. 8. List thewords that you find difficult to pronounce and ask for help from the teachers, native speakers • or better students.

  8. 9. Buy books on tape. Listen and record yourself reading. • 10. Be patient. 11. Don’t be shy.

  9. 13. Pronounce the ending of the word. • Ex: Bill saw a big fish swimming in the ripples. He licked his lips in anticipation of a delicious fish dinner.
