  5. CCOC Financial Statement 3 • Review conducted by Lanigan & Associates and provided to the CCOC Executive Council and Office of the Auditor General in January 2008

  6. Activities and Accomplishments 4 • Chair Jim C. Watkins retired in November 2007 • The Corporation approved CCOC staff to work with Clerks in budget training to help find ways of providing services in the upcoming year if some budgets are not increased • After almost 4 years of the peer-review budgeting process, the Corporation has been successful and beneficial to other members of the Judicial System and to the State

Goals for 08/09 5 • Help assure that Clerks’ offices continue to have the ability to meet the court-related needs of their constituents • Work with the Legislature to provide the additional revenues expected next year from new fees yet with the caveat that the Clerks will eventually need new revenues as well • Help find processes and procedures to be more efficient where possible • Review the work of the Corporation to determine where we could be more helpful and determine along with the Legislature what additional responsibilities we can be given • Other goals as brought forward by Corporation members
