The courses • Manage your enrolment – in and out • Begin your engagement with the courses as soon as the study desks “go live” in a week or so
Resources • Study desks – introductory “book”, plus modules, plus assignment/assessment details, plus discussions, plus uploaded materials (such as planning pro forma), cover sheets • Text books if set • CD – readings for three of the courses, breeze lectures on key learning areas, FET information, library and referencing assistance, literacy info, teaching as a leading profession
Assignments • Submission • A single specified mode for each single item • Dates and Extensions • Course Examiner is point of contact • Cover Sheet • Program-wide website, study desk, G block • Copies • You keep for the year (just in case)
Preparing for the Attachment • When your school, class, mentor, Associate are CONFIRMED … • Arrange to visit the school, classes, mentors • Advance preparation in terms of planning and managing • Get to know your Associate – email or phone • Essentially – get to know enough in advance in order to make a good useful impression on Day 1
Engaging with the program • On-campus classes • Web activities • School-based activities • Private study
