Training • TDN holds a Skills Funding Agency contract • Don’t deliver ourselves • Subcontracted to our members • We are responsible for quality and delivery • Manage our subcontractors well as we carry the risk • Some members will hold own contracts • Overall package ensures a wide variety of offerings

Private Training Providers • Come in a multitude of sizes! • Large nationals • Small niche players • Recommend considering the smaller players • Often more interested in bespoke offerings • Apprenticeships direction of travel of Government • Employers and employees contributions • Maybe unfunded bespoke begins to stack up • training needed versus training funded

  5. Opportunity • When considering training in austere times • Suggest looking at the wider offering • Apprenticeships / Bespoke • Private providers keen to accommodate needs • Employer / employee contributions may level field The Derbyshire Network happy to facilitate contacts
