  2. How water enter the plant ? • Water enter through the roots witch are the main part of the plants body. • The are located under the ground. • These roots have small rooters all over them, they absorb water. • They also absorb mineral salts.

  3. Transpiration • The water moves up the roots while it is still liquid into the stem and leaves. • Transpiration turns water from his liquid form into water vapor. • That happens when stomata open up to release the water.

  4. Phloem • The cells in the phloem are alive. • They transport neutrons from the leaves to the roots. • They send sap to parts in the part of the plants that are not photosynthesis. • The sap that it is transporting is filled with sugar made by photosynthesis.

  5. Xylem • Xylem transports water from the roots up through the steps to the leaves. • Out of the 2 transports in vascular plants Xylem is one of them.

  6. Xylem and Phloem images

  7. Adhesion and Cohesion • Cohesion is the attractions of the same type of molecules. • Adhesion the attraction of different types of molecules. • This is how water travels through the plant. • The water molecules attract each other and move up making a stream. (cohesion) • And they also attract to the cell walls making it easier to move through the plant. (adhesion
